I hadn’t realized until a few moments ago that today is William Hope Hodgson’s 138th birthday. So, in honor of that, I thought I’d post this interior illustration by Lawrence Sterne Stevens, for Hodgson’s “The Boats of the ‘Glen Carrig’”. This one is from the story’s appearance in Famous Fantastic Mysteries, June 1945.
