Description

A potent juxtaposition of Mary's innocence and power, rendered in gorgeous blacks by Cully Hamner. When I commented favorably on the fact that he had remembered the seams on the front of Mary's boots -- a detail most artists neglect -- Cully fondly recalled reading Marvel Family reprints in his youth. (Me too!)
