This is looks great Alex !! Have you any idea what year is this ? As I`m looking on the color pallete and the detailed drawing... it looks like something older. I can see here the mix of old BIZ and the new one started with Hellblazer pieces...

I don't have a date for it, but I agree with you stylewise that it appears to be older - which is part of what attracted me to it - besides the subject. I'd love to know if it was every published.

Hey there, I own this color version which is colored over a xerox copy, and I have the original pencil work. Dated 2000.

I'm sorry, but do you mean to say you used to own this colored version, and still own the original pencils? Simon commonly does pencil prelims and then copies them before adding colors and inks. Doesn't make the art any less legit.

I have both still, sorry for the confusion, wasn't taking anything away from the piece, theyre both gold. The color was a bonus of the sale, which was for the drawing. I think theyre both in my gallery if you look.

Hmmm... This would be the first time I heard of Simon doing two color versions of the same piece. BTW, I see your pencil piece in your gallery (it's beautiful, btw), but I don't see your colored version. Would you mind posting it? I'd like to see how they differ. P.S.- I have a really nice collection of Biz pencils. :)

oh shit, I didnt ecen realize this was YOUR piece, I literally thought this one was mine that was scanned somewhere, now I gotta dig mine out and compair.  Gimme a few and Ill make sure I post it in my gallery.  again, alot of confusion here, I just assumed you posted this version out of respect for the piece as some people do on here from time to time.

Haha! I bought it off ebay a while ago. It was probably from you. :) I do remember your pencil piece being posted as well - but the painted version attracted me more. Anyhow, I'm glad that's been all straightened out! And, yes, I own everything in my gallery. :)
