DescriptionThe secret is out ......I've always wanted a Black costumed Spider-Man cover and I think I finally found THE ONE. As if Spidey vs. the Green Goblin wasn't enough, toss in the HobGoblin and those beautiful, beautiful pumpkin bombs. Sure it's from the modern era but great artwork can be found in any time period. The cover is a perfect tribute to the Micheline / McFarlane storyline from ASM 312. This is my favorite cover from Patrick's run. It's clear that he went all out as there is so much detail and the layout is just perfect. A big shout out to my main man Cory Hamscher. Not only for selling me the cover but for being just an all around great guy. He is a fantastic penciller and inker. Cory has his own gallery here on CAF so be sure to visit and pick up a commission from him. If you haven't read the Marvel Adventures line, pick up the TPB and let these guys earn some royalties !!!!! Cheers! N. Social/Sharing |

Heh-heh! So, you finally decided to throw this up, eh? Even though I appreciated the sneak peek all those months ago, it's still nice to see it again. By the way, you're lucky we got to meet in San Diego this year and I found out what a nice guy you are. If not, I'd really be hating on you right now! LOL! Congrats buddy! This is just a flat out beauty!!!!!

Aw yeah, Titans! I've been waiting for you to get this one on line for a while. Definitely one of the best covers Patrick has done! Cory laid down some great lines.

Wow! A double Goblin Spidey cover! Everything about this cover is amazing - the fact that Scherberger drew and Hamscher inked every single hand laid stone in the Brooklyn Bridge, the layout, the perspective high above the beautifully rendered New York City skyline, the great shots of the villains and our lithe but sinewy protagonist placed right in the middle of it all. The words "instant classic" were well worn out by Stan Lee and Co., but if they are applicable anywhere, it is here. Colossal congratulations my friend!

Killer cover! I'd say one of the top 3 Patrick's done so far. Black costume Spidey, TWO Goblins...this one's got it all. Congrats!
