Description

This is a variant cover I did for Amazing Spider-Man #3 featuring Black Cat. (It's a store variant cover for Mile High Comic Shop.)

It's my first Spider-Man cover in about 3 years. And first time drawing Black Cat. It was relaxing and fun to crosshatching the body contours of Black Cat. I hope Marvel will let me draw more Black Cat in the future.

This cover is done a large Bristol board, 14" x 21", and done with ink and ballpoint pen.

One of the strongest Spidey drawings I've seen in a while. And the hatch on BC's costume is absolutely insane. You have a funny way of relaxing. I think that would drive most artists nuts! LOL

I love your ballpoint pen stuff, and this is stunning! Fantastic Black Cat and the overall layout is very dynamic, while still clearly giving the people what they want in one of your pieces. (That female form:) Amazing job, sir!
