Description

A beautiful illustration by the legendary James Montgomery Flagg. Best known for his depiction of Uncle Sam in the "I Want You" poster, Flagg was a master draftsman and one of the most high profile illustrators of his era. I especially loved his pen and work with the incredible confidence of his expressive line. This illustration was for the December 1927 issue of Cosmopolitan for an article called, "What He Needed Was Trouble" by Arthur Somers Roche and measures an impressive 23" x 29".
