My first example of this Kotzky strip and it is a great one featuring all 3 girls in the midst of a dramatic scene! Kotzky is to this day a vastly underrated artist and was much more accomplished than he seems to get credit for. No serious strip art collection is complete without one of these.

Thanks to fellow collector and 3-G aficionado Sean Menard for confirming the year of publication as 1961, making this the 11th strip in the run. Although this daily doesn't have the year of publication affixed to it, I knew it had to have been from earlier on in the strip's existence because it was initially distributed by Publishers Syndicate when it first began publication, then merged with King Features Syndicate soon after and this example still carries the Publishers Syndicate paste up.

A beautiful, early example from the 1st month of the strip, the 11th daily. This is when the girls first encounter the Professor who lives down the hall from them in 3H. How do I know? I own the daily 05-20-61 immediately following, daily #12 - Reuben definitely has a superior example. Great find, my friend!

I was reading Apartment 3-G regularly and admiring Kotzky's art before I was regularly reading Marvel comics. I'm still looking for the right strip. This is a really nice example.
