Freeze had the best villian stories on the Batman Animated series. This cover is perfect.

Wow, that's spectacular! I loved this cover from the moment I saw it. I would have thought that this would be in Albert's vault. It belongs in a museum, or a Gallery, preferably mine. Congrats on owning such a memorable cover.

What a great cover by Bruce Timm for all the reasons you listed--large board, pen & ink, beautiful rendering of each character. Very few pieces of Bruce's published work could top this.

I love Bruce's composition and how Mr Freez's jaw line is inverted to create the highlight on Batman's cowl. Magniicent piece Marcus! Congrats

This is impressive. Mr. Freeze has followed me from a Nor'easter to a snow storm in Colorado. This work goes beyond the typical one figure illustrations to a masterpiece of expression, detail, composition and use of solid black to highlight facial expression. This is Bruce Timm at the heights of his skills and mastery of the medium. Congratulations on getting a seminal piece.

I'm not one for "giant headshot" covers, but in this case I'd make an exception. The emotion, the tension, the conflict, the quiet energy of the falling snow.... there's some masterful storytelling woven in to this "giant headshot"

I'm a HUGE fan of Bruce Timm. That being said, I've always loved this cover. It still knocks me out when I stumble across the actual art from something so memorable to me. Congrats on this amazing score! I don't know how you did it, but "BRAVO"!

I've seen the thumbnail many times but I never clicked on it. It's my own lecherous fault. I'm usually just looking for naked girls with small boobies and pointy nipples when I'm in the mood for some Timm. Glad I finally clicked. I finally see Batman and Catwoman! Luv that integration!

The character really blossomed on the BAS episodes. I remember this cover fondly it's very striking. Bruce Timm really has a way of making you want to enter his world of art with mind and soul. A treasure.
