Descriptioni remember seeing this cover for the first time in the monthly previews and really being taken with it. i was already a hopeless tony moore fan @ that time but this one blew me away. several months later @ the ww-chicago show i had asked about its for sale status only to find out it was long gone. i had very few pieces then and figured something like this was probably out of my reach anyway at that time. to my surprise it appeared later on ebay. the buy it now turned out to be more than i had ever paid for a piece before. not a day has gone by where i do not feel blessed to own this personal grail. the series and the art from have really exploded recently. i get several monthly offers for this cover via this site and others. all are met with a thank you but this one will not be moving.Social/Sharing |

Thought I already commented on this, but I guess not. THE BEST cover from the series in my opinion. No contest!

Wow! This may be my favorite Walking Dead cover ever! I love the way this cover puts you directly in the shoes of the survivors. It forces you to imagine you are on this side of the fence and the only thing protecting you from the walker is a few strands of wire. It makes the comic kind of like a sandbox video game where everything is from your point of view. Very cool art by Tony Moore. Not too many Tony Moore covers out there, most of them are held tightly in black hole collections. Congrats on picking up this one!

I will add the second 2025 comment. What more could you ask for? Zombies front and centre.
