Gorgeous piece! Definitely one of Sale's best Batman images. The moodiness is captured so well, and I love the sharp lines and fabulous inks here. Great timing with the new movie (which I saw last night in early Imax fan event...great movie too!). Congrats on an amazing pickup.

Wow! Wow! Wow! That is just flat out gorgeous. Tim Sale is a pro at using the contrast of black and white to create powerful imagery and this is one of his best. Huge congrats!

Whew. SO much shadowed goodness. Gotta love pieces like this because at face value, knowing there's not much rendering, you'd thing it's "simple". Far from it. Quite the contrary actually, making something like this look easy. Killer. Congrats, Jay!
