simply stunning. every panel is a winner here but that middle 4th panel is a hang it on your bedroom wall poster worthy level story moment and group shot. powerful. huge congrats on getting this back in your grasps Kirk!

Great page! I seem to recall being offered this page maybe 10-15 years ago, and for some reason not taking it. I'm an idiot.

Hi Nils- Rubenstein inked most of the pages from the book, but Starlin tended to ink some of his favoritre pages, it could be because he liked it or their may have been a deadline issue- but in this case I think it is the former.

No one could touch Starlin's 70's cosmic sagas. While the Death of Captain Marvel graphic novel was probably my favorite Starlin tale, this Avengers Annual cross over with Marvel Two-in-One Annual was a close second. And don't even get me started on his Captain Marvel stint. What an awesome page. That middle panel is killer, but the whole thing rocks. Congrats buddy!

I think this is one of the best annuals ever published, so huge congrats on getting (back) a critical, star-studded, well-designed page from a historic issue!
