How cool is this? Perez getting to draw Superman with (almost) all of his co-stars from the first 38 issues of the DC Comics Presents series - so we get everyone from his JLA cohorts (Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Firestorm, Atom, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Elongated Man and Zatanna) to the supernatural (Spectre, Phantom Stranger, Dr. Fate, Deadman, Swamp Thing) to the cosmic (Starman, Adam Strange, Legion of Super-Heroes, Captain Comet, Mister Miracle) to street level (Robin, Batgirl, Black Lightning, Man Bat) to the Super (Supergirl, Superboy, Shazam and the entire Shazam Family, including Uncle Dudley/Uncle Marvel and Hoppy the Marvel Bunny), as well as some surprising pairings like Sgt. Rock and the Metal Men.

Another awesome example of Perez tackling a large swatch of the DC Universe (which of course he would top a few years later with Crisis and History of the DC Universe), and one of the earlier of his efforts at inking himself.

My only complaint - while the New Teen Titans didn't actually team up with Superman in issue 26 (so their absence is understandable), what happened to Aquaman (issue 5) and Red Tornado (issue 7)? Also, although Hawkgirl had a cameo in issue 11, she wasn't a co-star until issue 37, so the notation isn't actually correct - should have said "From the First 38 issues) (since 38 was Flash once again)

Yes, that's my complaint - not enough characters! (LOL)
