DescriptionFinal page from the central issue of the Brood trilogy by Claremont and Silvestri. I love the somber mood of the page, Green's unusually deep inks, Claremont's dialogue and of course the central Storm panel, which I find simply mesmerizing. Storm's characterisation throughout issues 200-250 was just perfect, IMHO.This page takes me one step closer to my goal of having one prime Silvestri page from every major storyline from my beloved ouback period from Uncanny (vs Reavers, Brood, Genosha, Inferno, vs Master Mold, again vs Reavers). Ok I still don't have the perfect Inferno piece and technically there is also the Savage Land two-parter. But still I am doing pretty well! Carlo, your collection is getting better and better and this end page is just perfect! Agree with you, Silvestri Storm is maybe his best character as he draw her as a real goddess. Superbe pick!

Another great Silvestri X-Men piece. The low angle panel is fantastic and the lower Storm panel is gorgeous, even the lower right panel's shadow work is exquisite to really paint the scene and set a mood. Cheers!
