DescriptionThis is a very cool piece from the recent Wildstorm 25th Anniversary hardcover that came out late last year. It brought so many of the artists back together to the studio that launched them and it had A LOT of new stuff with the classic 90's versions of the characters by the artists that made them popular. So there was some reprinted stuff in it, but I would say it was 80% new stuff and ifyou are a Wildstorm fan it is a must-have item. :) So there were all new stories for Deathblow by Jim Lee, Gen13 by Campbell, Backlash by Brett Booth, and then the other notable artists from the early days of Wildstorm did pin ups for the stuff they were known for. So there were at least pinups by the other notable title artists like Tim Sale did a Deathblow, Adam Hughes did the Wildstorm Ladies (like all of them), and Gary did this Gen13 piece, along with many others.With all of the relaunches and reboots of the Wildstorm universe, it was great to get new stuff featuring the classic characters drawn by the artists I loved. So when I came out, I picked some things I wanted to get from it and a friend beat me to the entire Backlash story by Booth, and I can't afford the Jim Lee or J Scott Campbell stories, but when I saw this new piece by Gary, I knew I wanted it. So it took some research to find out who sells for him (SterlingClass on CAF and Ebay) and how to reach them, and inquired on it. After a brief back and forth, they confirmed Gary still had and and we negotiated the price and made arrangements to pay and locked it down lol. So I am very excited to add this piece to my collection as it fires on all cylanders. Classic Wildstorm characters (check), featuring Gen13 which was always a favorite of mine (check), a Wildstorm swimsuit piece (check), and by one of the most memorable artists from the original run (check). (J. Scott Campbell and Gary were the 2 most prolific artists on the original run) As always the additional images has the published image and some large scans of the separate halves. Social/Sharing |

This is incredible Dave! Gen 13 was the one major wildstorm title I didn’t read, but I can certainly appreciate the artwork!

I am still in shock that you have this, man. Such a gorgeous piece of artwork and it fits SO well in your collection. Like I've told ya before; HUGE congrats!!
