Description

This is an original Non-Production (throwaway) animation drawing of Ariel from THE LITTLE MERMAID by supervising animator Glen Keane. I was an intern when Mermaid was being made so I got to see it come together with the eyes of an young, eager artist. I'll never forget it, it was an exciting time. Glen had animated this scene where she is putting her hair up (as Eric comes up to her) a few times and this was some of the 'extra" drawings that didn't work in the animation. I love what he wrote me- it's pure Glen but I have stolen it many times since then!
