Wagner, Matt - Mage, issue 3, page 9 (Sept 1984)

I've written about Mage more deeply in other parts of this gallery - but for this page, really need to note just how different the look, feel and general 'texture' Wagner inking himself feels compared to his later collaboration with Sam Keith as inker. Mage was published over an extended period of time and Wagner's art was maturing the whole way, but it was really enjoyable to see how unique those early pages are when looking at (and greatly enjoying) this one.
