Description

Back in 1986, I went to Atlanta to attend the World Sci-Fi Convention. One of the Guests of honor was Ray Bradbury, whom I'm a big fan of. I had done this portrait of him the night before I left. While waiting in line to meet him, it was determined that the line was too long, and I wouldn't get to meet him. My friend that was with me didn't want me to mope around the rest of the trip, so he spoke to a security guard, who spoke to a representitive of Ray Bradbury, and they pulled me aside, and after the signing was done, I was taken to meet him. He couldn't have been nicer. He even graded it with an A+ before he signed it. I owe my friend Fred alot for getting me to meet Mr. Bradbury.

Just imagine having a portrait of your favorite artist like Jim Lee or Frank Miller with any character they've worked on, like Batman or Superman. Or, how about Brian Bendis with Spiderman or any of the Avengers. Than you can get the portrait signed. How cool would that be!!
