DescriptionWearing a suit of armor that fit like a leotard, Iron Maiden is, by far, Tower's most famous villain and femme fatale, (and big in all the revivals) but she only appeared in 59 Tower pages: 1 cover, 57 story pages, and 1 pinup; of these, Wally Wood did 39, Reed Crandall 6, and Chic Stone 13.She was also the most famous female character Wallace Wood created who never posed nude in the publication for which she was best known. This rarity is Page 4 of the story, "Bad Day for Leonard Brown" from Dynamo #3, March 1967. It is the only time that the two rivals for Dynamo's affection, Iron Maiden and Alice, ever meet. Len and Rusty's talk here is unusually frank. Social/Sharing |
