DescriptionGrowing up, I was somewhat ambivalent when Giffen would draw a book with his Jose Munoz style as I loved his earlier style. On one hand, I loved the layouts and the abstract designs but on the other hand, didn't like the elongated abstract faces of the people. Nowadays, I just love everything about his artwork during this period, even more so than his earlier style. For me, this is one of the best renditions of the Creeper I have ever seen. Great splash! It looks like Giffen was channeling some Ditko into his style here!

Love the black and shading here. I always think of Legion when it comes to Giffen. It always nice to see an artist draw something else so superbly!!!!

I still do not understand why Keith took so much crap for aping somebody's style. Original ideas and concepts are reserved for once in a generation creators.

LOVE this period of Giffen's art! Cool-ass CREEPER, the only Creeper that rivals Ditko's original in its unique strangeness is Giffen!
