Description

Like everyone else, I was heartbroken to hear of George's diagnosis this year. My heart goes out to him, his family and his loved ones.

Earlier in the year, I had the rare opportunity to request a sketch from George and made sure to add him to my Rocketeer Gallery - a piece that will be treasured.

I only had the opportunity once to meet George in person - at the Calgary Expo years ago, and he was so kind and generous with his time and particularly to my son who was probably 4 or 5 at the time, gifting him a Spider-man sketch at the time. That moment forever set my view of the man.
