Description

When I think of Brian Bolland's artwork I think of two villains: The Joker and Judge Death. Brian already created a Joker piece for me that I love...in today's mail I found this treasure of a piece.

11"x17" overall with wonderful detail, Brian created something for me that (between the piece itself and the inscription upon it) I will treasure and value always.

Many Many Thanks Brian.....and many thanks to Spencer Beck of the Artist's Choice for helping make this happen, for his work at the NYC Comic-Con, and for giving me the opportunity to assist one of my artistic heroes. Like Brian, Spencer is one of a kind.

UPDATE: I just picked up a copy of the new softcover "DEATH LIVES" published by Rebellion with a new introduction by Brian Bolland. To my surprise, when I opened up the book, I found my sketch was used as the inside cover preceding Brian's Intro.

I always thought the piece was cover/publication quality. It's always nice to be validated in one's opinion. So the switch to "Published Art" has been made. :-)

I can't seem to understand your perverse fascination with Judge Death...is it his sparkling white teeth or what? Just kidding. Congratulations on getting a gorgeous piece.

Gorgeous! I'm hoping that Brian will be able to do a sketch of Judge Death when he comes to NYCC this year (he mentioned last year he would be attending) Thank you for Sharing!!!!
