DescriptionMy first, and probably only, finished piece by Adam. This piece was used as a promotional piece for Free Comic Book Day by a Toronto comic shop. (Finished poster also in this gallery.) And apparently was also published as the cover of Sketch Magazine #39, which features a cover story on the artist.I know EVERYONE says it – but you would not believe the detail on this piece in person. All of the bubbles in the bubble wrap are hand drawn. The hatching on the blue jeans is amazing. And would you look at that ... face. ;-) A big thanks to Allison and Mr. Hugs for letting me have the chance to hang this on the wall. Social/Sharing |

Wow. Awesome. I'm surprised the folks at Silver Snail didn't try to aquire this. Would have looked good hanging in their shop.

Wow. This is a really amazing piece! I generally like pieces with major characters, but this is such a wonderful piece of art, it just draws attention all on its own. Congrats on a magnificent acquisition!

I feel the same way about my AH! cover. The scans just don't do the artwork justice. I like this, nice pick up.

Every now and then, I run across pieces on the CAF with all these Views and all these Comments and I wonder what all the fuss is about. But THIS, this is a piece worth going crazy over! Absolutely gorgeous! Love everything about it, the design, the compostion, the linework, the details, everything! Congrats Mike, she's a beauty!!!!!

I would definitely buy a Robot For Dummies book! Too bad there isn't one. (Or is there?) Great pic! As always, Hughes is full of the clever and sexy!

One of my favorite Hughes pieces! The inks are just incredible with that detailed crosshatching playing against the clean lines of the tech. Outstanding!

Adam's drawn a lot of really nice images over the years, but this might be my favorite one on CAF. The rendering on the pants contrasts with the simpler lines on her figure (and even the robot), and her facial expression is just perfect. Huge congrats!

Sally is SO cute. Her face is adorable. This is one of the few times I'll say I really like the color version even more than the black and white. Black and white = amazing / colored version = freakin' amazing.
