DescriptionHave I mentioned how awesome my wife is lately? She knew how much I loved Cooke's Parker books and made a play for a great two-page spread from the second book. She didn't get it. But did that stop her? No. She went back to the well and scored this awesome (unused) pinup. So I have an awesome piece of Cooke art from the Parker series AND an awesome wife. Happy birthday to me. Classy art, classy wife! I'm yet to read The Outfit, but I'm looking forward to it. Lucky dog!

That's a keeper and sounds like the wife is, as well!

What a great page. Tells a whole story in a single panel. Darwyn Cooke is sorely missed. You have probably been told this many times but just in case: this piece was used for a limited edition signed print with single hand-applied spot colour. I was lucky enough to snag one. Not as lucky as one guy I can think of.

I never got a chance to get one of the prints. I never got to see Darwyn at a show after he made those. I keep my eyes on eBay!

Well, I won mine off eBay and there are plenty of them about (mine is 23 of 200). Never got the chance to meet the artist. The print was a benefit piece for The Hero Initiative; what a great all-round guy Cooke was. Really liked your acquistion story – you, sir, are twice blessed.

Love this Darwyn Cooke pinup! This one really captures the essence of what I love about Cooke's Parker work. Just a great example of his work! Congrats!
