Yup. They had Wolvie kill off Sabertooth as well. They wanted to fulfill every fantasy checklist item so they can retcon it with AOA. Garney carried over that early 90's look of the book with this choice image.

Perfect scene and Garney captured it wonderfully. The fallout that happened between Rogue and Gambit after this moment was pretty epic as well. Congrats on scoring this!
