Description"He is the COLLECTOR. That is his mania. He collects things. If it is rare, the Collector desires it." announces Thanos.Twice-up opening splash from THANOS QUEST #2 features Taneleer Tivan, the Collector-- a cosmic Elder of the Universe-- in his gallery surrounded by treasures curated from across the universe. One of those items is the all-powerful Reality Gem, coveted by Thanos who calls to offer a trade. This splash speaks to me as a passionate collector of OA, comics and other treasures that bring joy to my life. Indeed, we are all collectors on a quest for rare and desirable treasures worth traversing the galaxy. Social/Sharing |

You both have a lot in common. I have to assume you also have a pet Nene goose, sea tutle and of course a hoary bat.

beautiful splash of the colector as he surveys his collection and wonders what nextpiece to add to his collection. you and Jordan have the next theme when you dual again. you as the collector and jordan as the grandmaster. just think of the memes you can do with that.

Fantastic splash, as they say "Art imitates life" so this is especially fitting for you Dino!

A great page from a great miniseries. It's fun getting to see some of the creatures in his gallery, and the symmetry really draws the eyes to the Collector. Excellent page.

What better character to represent those if us obsessed with accumulating artifacts that a guy who obsessively accumulates artifacts? The proper spelling is "DaCollector" though. 😉

He doesn't have any comic art on the ceiling so don't see why we should take him seriously!

The Collector in his element, among the collection. And nice adding the MCU image - del Toro definitely came to mind for me, too :) Congrats!

As a person who has recently picked up a few Collector pieces, I trully appreciate this. I find the act of holding the artistic expresion of a human condition, with which I struggle, to be a form of catharsis. All collectors must wonder at some point. Is collecting a passion, or a neurosis? For me, a Collector piece helps me stay grounded. The only problem is when I let go, I............... Squirrel!
