DescriptionThe only thing in my mind better than landing a favorite cover is getting the beautiful story that goes with it. I had an opportunity to get a few Simon Garth Marcos stories---and I wish I grabbed at least one!!! But this double page splash is from my personal story grail from that artist---so I guess I can't complain. The Man Who Cried Werewolf...as classic as classic can be!Social/Sharing |

The mood and atmosphere with the fear you see in the girl being chased is fear inducing adrenaline. The large reveal of the Wolf-Man makes this worthy of its place amongst the greatest all time images of horror comics!

To be totally fair and honest---I basically only collect stuff that I grew up with. I remember the cover to Monsters Unleashed #1---but never actually owned the book as a kid. Yet, when years later I thumbed thru a copy of the book, I was blown away by the story. Finding the cover was one thing---getting the story was relatively easy. A good friend of mine had it, and I didn't even know. He told me about it when he knew I was hot for the cover. He didn't want to sell it, but agreed to if I landed the cover. Hence......

That's just gorgeous, no doubt those inks are even more stunning in person. Well done & goes beautifully with the cover.

Fantastic piece! Another instance where having the lettering on the artwork is tremendous. It adds so much to this work.

Check out the Maroto page I have posted from Stranger in Hell. That is one of the best examples I have of lettering enhancing the artwork big time. Thanks for your comment Lee!

This is a very menacing and beautiful splash with great flow across the two pages. I hope you can get this splash framed and enjoy looking at it every day on the wall. Congrats!
