"...find that fun-face Malone before he can turn the big apple into the crispy pancake."

THIS is comics, mother-funsters! When the powers-that-be (Egmont-Fleetway) ordered Tharg to adapt the miserable 8-bit EA game 'Urban Strike' into a comic then this was the sheer genius that erupted. Stupid plotting, kitsch and overwrought dialogue, laughable swearing, ridiculous ninjas and heroic sexy nuns, all wrapped up in Mick Austin's slick neo-realism, made this 6-part story go down like the well-greased gerbil that it was. Grail page.

At the time I had no idea that this was based on a game (nice work, Thargy-boy), but lapped it up as just more genius 2000AD satire. Time for a re-print.

What were you saying about a game adaption?Was too busy looking at the lingerie wearing nun to really concentrate.Lol
