Description

Pure theatrical bad-assery from, IMHO, the BEST Rogue Trooper artist, Cam Kennedy, ably scripted by the redoubtable Gerry Finley-Day.

In his seemingly never-ending search for the Traitor General, Rogue has stumbled on the Marauders, a band of deserters - Norts and Southers - who raid both sides in the jungles and deserts of Nu-Earth...and have some bitchin' atmocraft to do their maraudin' in. With Nort sniper Morgen having swiped Gunnar and Bagman, and Souther pilot Player with Helm ("Shut it, lid!"), how will our hero escape their relentless pursuit..?

Taking everything that he'd learned from working on Commando comics and Battle Action, particularity the Vietnam strip 'Fighting Mann', Kennedy takes Rogue Trooper, and runs with dialing everything up to 11. Zarjaz!

The Marauders was definitely one of the high points of Rogue Trooper for me; Colin Wilson and Cam were the Dream Team on that story, given their flair for future tech - those hopper and atmocraft designs were incredible... Anyway, a beautiful page, Ben!
