DescriptionWritten in very faint pencil on the front of the page in the blank space next to the snake's head are the words: "Temple of Serpent's Blood" which must be the title of the story. There is writing on the back of the page in blue pencil, possibly from the editor, mentioning where to place the title to shoot it for copy. I believe this may have been the original title page to Nightmare #7 (Skywald Publications, 1972) but was scrapped and redrawn by Marcos as the "Altar of Blood" story in 1972.https://www.comics.org/issue/25209/ Social/Sharing |

Snakes and half-naked women is a definite show-stopper, especially when they are drawn as well as this.
