DescriptionMany thanks to the GODFATHER of the Comic Art Community, Mr. Spencer Beck for helping make a dream come true for this collector. The Romitas do a One Minute Later of the classic Amazing Spider-Man #39 -- John Romita Jr. penciled the piece and John Romita Sr. did inks EXCEPT for the corner box which is 100% John Romita Sr, pencils and inks.I am thrilled with this piece and want to thank the Romitas for taking time from their busy schedules to do this commission and to the art agent GURU Spencer Beck for helping put this together. Yes; its amazing. Yes; its unique. Yes its not one but two Romita's drawn in the style of the era but storywise ,it is exactly what would happen One Minute later which is the whole point of the commission. Well done.

A True collector's item classic! I've been a fan of JRJR since that spectacular cover to uncanny X-men 207. John Romita Sr. since 1986 when Marvel tales reprinted Amazing Spider-man . None What a dream collaboration! It appears that SR really took over with his trademark inks. John Romita Sr. can make anything beautiful. I always felt SR was completely under-appreciated as an inker. His pen and brush work is as distinctive as any artist ever. JR/JR, in my opinion, is the definitive artist of the past 30 years. Month in and month out he delivers the goods. He's a master storyteller who's reinvented himself for each new generation. His work has it all.

Fantastic -- the best commission on CAF. The only problem is that to top this, you will need to bring Kirby back from the grave . . .

The "...One Minute Later" is a great concept, and I'm sure you'll bookend it with a "Moments Before..." once you hit the wall with all of the epic sequences you're commissioning. I enjoy when collectors themselves add their own creativity and have a theme to their collection. You have a remarkable gallery.

I have a dream list of commission artists. It's a dream list because, for the most part, the only way I'll be able to get these guys to tackle my ideas is in my dreams. Congrats on acquiring a dream.

Truly outstanding. I think John Romita Sr is even better than he was back then (if that's possible). The expressions on both the Goblin and Spidey's faces is great. Congratulations on a milestone piece.

The amazing thing here is that you come up with these tremendous ideas through which you create commissions that approach being as collectible as the originals upon which they are based. This is especially true where, as here, you get legendary artists to redeux their legendary originals and you end up with, essentially, a Romita (x2) Spidey / Goblin cover - one of the most sought after of all Spidey original comic art. Just an inspired choice all around. Congratulations!

Amazing! truly brilliant! Its amazing to see John Romita Sr's inking, it really leaveshis mark particularly on Peter's face and the whole Green Goblin which is more shades Sr. than Jr. But there is only a handful of these commissions on CAF and this is probably the absolute greatest! It would be very interesting to see your top 10 OML I'm guessing this is top 3 worthy, if not a sure No.1

A tip of the hat to one of the major collecting accomplishment showed here on CAF. Your whole collection is more than deserving to be published, it would make a great collector's edition!

If this was your only piece of comic art, you'd still have an incredible collection. Just....astounding. You better have this in a frame, pal. (Shakes fist menacingly)
