DescriptionAbout 20 years ago I did a deal with a guy on eBay for $3500, for which I got a Harold McCauley FATE magazine cover and this McGinnis. The McCauley is long gone, but this piece has been on my wall for the last 20 years.Social/Sharing |

John, you've had this for decades and still don't know it's the cover to What Really Happened by Brett Halliday (Dell 9458)? Well, I guess now you know! It's a beauty, and nice to see it isn't as dark as it printed. Love the single shoe trope McGinnis loved using!

I do have the book, I was just too lazy to go digging for it!

Absolutely beautiful.
McGinnis was really at his best on these Brett Halliday covers.
