DescriptionDuring Covid, Ken Pierce posted this original Maguire painting in a Facebook group and it was gone in a minute. I was crestfallen, as Maguire is one of my favorite artists. When I let him know that I would have paid substantially more than he sold it for he contacted the buyer, Shaun Clancy, and we did a three way deal, where I paid Ken and Shaun got a sweet Bob Montana piece from me, and I got the Maguire. What?!? Shaun emailed me a few months back asking me approximate values for some illustration art, including a Maguire, but I don't recall this piece being one that he showed me! Anyway, great piece, John, and I guess you win again!

Oh really? Okay, that explains why I didn't see this one. Of course, it doesn't explain how Shaun seems to come into potential art deals involving Maguire art every four years when he doesn't even collect non-comics illustration.... Are you going to get the glue removed, John, or just leave it as is?

Hot! Defines the genre well and shows off Maguire's skills with that white dress and how well she wears it. Liz Taylor couldn't have pulled off this performance. Looks like Ruben was looking for a four way.
