Description

Val Mayerik Conan the Barbarian #138 Story Pages 12 Original Art (Marvel, 1982). Sorcerer Revelle spins a tale for Conan and niece Pelija about a ruby snake amulet that split his fate from his brother's. Moments later, Pelija and Conan are whisked away to a cursed island to free the shackled Eshe, twisted by the amulet's power, and recover the relic itself in these gripping pages from "Isle of the Dead". Ink over blue pencil and graphite on Bristol boards with image areas of 10" x 15". Panel 4 of Page 12 is stripped-in and held by tape on the back, resulting in more pronounced toning and associated foxing in that area. Light toning, glue residue staining, smudging, pulled-tape abrasions on top/bottom edges, marginal editorial notes, production-trimmed edges/corners, whiteout corrections, and handling wear. In Very Good condition.
