Description

One of my first and only oil paintings. I find Acrylic and water color are just quicker. I am still very proud of the piece though, it has a very classic feel. I am also proud of the symbolism of the sword being the light in the darkness and the subtle cross motif in the highlights. I believe this still may be one of the only or very few renditions of Excalibur rising out from the water in a dark/night time setting, which gives for a very bold image in visual and meaning.
