Description

So last fall, Shawn was showing off some amazing oversized black and white commissions and offering up a few slots to play in this size some more. Immediately reaching out I thought to go a little out of my usual ball park and go with something Cosmic. Having picked up some amazing pieces from Shawn already I knew this would be without question amazing.

Following through setting this up talking with Shawn we decided it should be color and I mean seeing it now I couldn't be happier with that decision. As Shawn puts it - Cosmic Electric Acid - this thing could be a black light poster - the colors are so incredible, vibrant and textured throughout the piece you really can't capture it well in scan. This massive masterpiece clocks in around 15x22!

Shawn is a completely underrated master! Watching him work this up from concept sketches through the painting live on instagram was an absolute treat. If you aren't a Shawn Crytal fan already - you really need to be!

Trippy goodness! Love all the colors, especially those pops of neon! I gotta get a piece by Shawn soon. Congrats!
