DescriptionThis city has seen better days. But fret not, the original Defenders are here! (Subby's buried under that rubble somewhere...)I've been very fortunate to have been able to add these pieces by the Hall of Famer, Kevin Nowlan to my collection, after having tried unsuccessfully to do so for a long while. Love how Hulk is stepping outside the panel border - "the Defenders are comin'!" All 3 characters so clearly done by Nowlan in his unique style. Great linework throughoout, too. Congrats!

Cosmic powered by nobility, Supernatural powered by will, and Brute strength as a product of anger! Balanced composition by Nowlan to bring equal shine to each!

I guess I should be happy that one of my favorite artists loves my favorite super team so much that he draws them over and over. Another fun variation on the roster. Usually, it's Doc, Hulk, & Val. So it's always a super fun bonus when you get either Subby or Surfer. I think I've gotten a version with everyone BUT Surfer, so that is a box I need to check off at some point. Fabulous group shot with some amazing backgrounds. Congrats my friend.

Stunning Defenders piece by the amazing Kevin Nowlan! Love seeing the original Defenders gathered together again! Nowlan's unique style is very evident, especially in the way he draws the Hulk! Both Doctor Strange and the Silver Surfer are also beautifully drawn. And Nowlan's inks are phenomenal! Great pick-up!
