Description

The quirky, quintessentially Ditkoesque, villain, the Looter. Amidst the astronomical prices for Ditko ASM art nowadays, it is easy to be distracted by this, forgetting the wonderful art of someone who was ideally suited to this particular character. It is such a pity that Ditko was to stay on for only two further issues. It makes the stewardship of this piece all the more humbling and significant.

What an incredible way to start off the new year. Your comment about how Ditko only had two more issues of Spidey to go, yet was at the height of his artistic talents, makes me wonder if anyone has ever seen any of his Charlton, Blue Beetle Pages?
