This is such an interesting piece in terms of composition and theme. Love the juxtaposition of such a tender moment against such a nightmarish background. Both pencilled and inked by Lightle, I think he was at the top of his game on this piece. I love how he drew the embracing characters in his classic style while using a rougher line to draw the more frightening backgrounds. I really love this piece and was so lucky that Mitch was able to procure it for me. Thanks buddy!

This is a true Lightle masterpiece. I love the scary faces in the background, and the pose of Havok and Polaris is totally classic. Incredible score!

Steve Lightle is an artist who does so much with pencil and inks, there are layers upon layers of details in this piece. Bravo
