Doctor Strange by Nate Stockman

When I started really getting into superhero comics, I was pretty limited on my budget, buying mainly X-Men and Transformers comics. But I slowly started to branch out, buying extra comics that looked cool to me, and at that time Jackson "Butch" Guice was drawing Doctor Strange, so that was one cool-looking comic. Now, I've read tons of Stephen Strange's adventures, and enjoyed seeing him drawn by Steve Ditko, Gene Colan, Kevin Nowlan, Marcos Martin, Frank Brunner, Geof Isherwood, and many others. When I was trying to think of characters for Nate Stockman to draw for me, Strange's name popped into my head, because I really wanted to see how Nate would handle the character. And well, he blew me away with this commission! In the bottom corner there we have Strange meditating, and taking up the rest of the piece is his giant spirit form battling it out on the astral plane! I really dig the mystical energy effects Nate drew, and Strange himself just looks incredible. Thanks, Nate!

If you like this piece, then by all means go buy some of Nate's comics and/or commission him yourself.
