Description

This Superman splash holds a very nostalgic place in my heart. I remember purchasing this particular comic book 33 years ago in the Memphis hospital gift shop. I was staying with my sister in the hospital just a few months before she passed away. It sure brings back a lot of good memories of the few weeks that I stayed with her.

What a great page! I remember buying this one off the spinner rack of the local drug store way back in the day--congrats on a wonderful piece of art by the definitive Superman artist!

It is when our own personal stories intersect with the published story..that a Comic book Grail comes into being. Nice page but even nicer memory

I always enjoy hearing stories about collectors who have found original artwork from stories they enjoyed when they were growing up. And this is an amazing splash page, on top of that.
