Description

From the cover of Mother Jones Magazine (Jan/Feb 1994), "Killer Cleavers" ... an unusual look at the vintage television sit-com, Leave It To Beaver. Award winning illustrator C.F. Payne's illustrations have graced the covers of countless magazines (including Time Magazine, Rolling Stone, Mad Magazine and the back covers of Reader's Digest for 5 years) and numerous children's books. Payne was inducted into the Society of Illustrators' Hall of Fame is one of the most distinguished illustrators of his generation. Payne cites the artists of Mad Magazine as some of his early influences, and that is apparent on this fantastic off-beat illustration.

My favorite show. Beaver sure got himself in a lot Of situations didn't he? Great painting.
