Description
A huge (20" x 20") Paul Calle original illustration for the 1968 NBC television series, "Julia", starring Diahann Carroll. This artwork was also published in Illustrators 11, the Society of Illustrators Annual Competition exhibited in 1969. My photo doesn't come close to capturing the beauty and intricate detail of this piece. Calle also authored/illustrated a book called "The Pencil" that is absolutely outstanding and one of my favorite books.
