Rare 1920's HAROLD TEEN Sunday, hand-colored by Carl Ed. HAROLD TEEN was the progenitor of all the teen strips to follow.Bob Montana most certainly read HAROLD TEEN as a boy, and it vertainly influenced his creation of ARCHIE.
The 1920's strips are great with jaunty cartooning and gags, but the strip became increasingly stiff and repetitive with the passage of time.
