DescriptionFirebrand was one of those offbeat titles that come out of DC from time to time (can you say the Creeper!?).Even if the title did not present anything new in terms of storytelling, I bought the title solely on the strength of Sal Velluto's beautiful art. I have always admired Sal's storytelling ability and firm grasp of anatomy, and the way he can create moody pieces! Sal should be a superstar penciller, but unfortunately he is very low profile in comics; he is much more followed in Europe where he is responsible for fantastic art on titles such as The Phantom...
