Description

Just finished this recreation commission of the cover to TALES OF SUSPENSE #58. Not one of the images that's etched in my memory, but I'm happy with how it turned out. Everything is inked by hand over printed bluelines. Tried to punch up some things just a little, but mostly remain true to the original. Online it says Chic Stone inked the cover, but it sure doesn't look as bold as the usual Chic over Kirby stuff. NFS

I always thought Dick Ayers inked this cover for some reason. This cover always stood out in my mind because Cap's uniform was colored such a deep shade of blue.

Great recreation, capturing all the excitement of the original. They don't make coves like this anymore.
