Description

This is page 36 from the Batman Returns one-shot adaptation of Tim Burton's 1992 Batman Returns feature film, which starred Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman, and Danny DeVito as the Penguin. Written by Dennis O'Neil, with pencils by Steve Erwin and inks by José Luis García-López.

This page is signed by Tim Burton and Steve Erwin. I picked up this page from Steve a couple of decades ago. Then about a decade ago I met Tim at a local book signing. I brought it with me to get autographed. His people wanted to hold it when I met him, as they didn't want me to ask for an autograph. I said I would not let them hold it and would just show it to him. When I showed it to him his first word with a big smile was "cool" or something like that. We talked a bit about the piece and then he signed it. I laughed as I looked as his folks who were giving me the evil eye.
