Karate Kid vs. Hellcat by David Lafuente

I have been a fan of David Lafuente's art ever since I first saw it in some X-Men short stories many years ago. David has only gotten more impressive with his stints on Hellcat, Ultimate Spider-Man, New Mutants, and Doop. So when I got the opportunity to commission David, I quickly did it. I gave David a few opponents to choose from for a Karate Kid commission, and David chose Patsy Walker herself, Hellcat! It may have been years since David drew his Hellcat miniseries, but he still knows how to make her look awesome! I love the way he draws her pose, sash, and mask. Also, David draws one heck of a Karate Kid! The perspective on his foot coming out is particularly impressive to me. Thanks to David for drawing this, and to Nate for picking it up for me!

Hellcat was featured in one of the first Avengers comics I ever read way back in the day, and I have always liked the character. That said, she has pretty much no chance against Karate Kid. Patsy's suit enhancements, along with her martial arts training from Moondragon and Captain America, should let her hang with Karate Kid for a little while, but she loses this fight. Sorry, Patsy!
