Exactly ten years ago today, I joined ComicArtFans and uploaded my first pictures of my collection, starting with my prized Geoff Senior Transformers page featuring Unicron. It's been a great ten years and CAF has allowed me to connect with some great collectors and artists. (Bill, Chuck, Claudio... to name only a few...)

I had to sell off some artwork over the past year to help fund a new home and upcoming wedding, but while I've lost some special pieces, I still have a few "aces" up my sleeve. And what better way to celebrate ten years then to reveal one of those gems.

I was a die-hard Marvel Transformers fan in the 80s and collected the series all the way up through the final issue in 1991. I thought Transformers was dead and buried. Imagine my shock when just two years later during a lunch break in college, I walk into a comic shop and there in front of me is the cover of Transformers G2 #1! The Transformers had returned, bigger and badder than ever! I was hooked, and G2 forever holds a special place in my Autobot-loving heart! :-)

That is an awesome Ace up your sleeve. I remember this series very fondly as well and I was very excited to see Optimus and Megatron back. It felt like the good old days. Lol. Congrats, buddy!

Love this one, and congrats on the 10 years. I missed G1 Marvel on the racks, but distinctly remember this chromey Optimus face staring at me in the comic book store.

I've also been both on CAF and collecting comic art 10 years but I've never managed to find ANY Transformers or G.I.Joe covers (especially none like this!) and they were my gateway into comics. This cover is OUTSTANDING! Bravo!
