Big Wow Comicfest, San Jose 2015

Lela Dowling and her husband Frank Cirocco were set up just down the row from my brother's Stuart Ng Books. I browsed through the art on her table. Many of the pieces were pencil prelims like these. When I saw the image, I knew I had to get it. I believe Lesson in Time was an illustrated poem for Marvel's Epic magazine. I didn't realize it at the time, but I think Lela's Weasel Patrol collaborator Ken Macklin was manning Lela's booth at the time I purchased this piece.
