Description

From the story written by Alan Brennert, who wasn't prolific in comics but always provided great scripts. He worked on some great episodes of LA Law.

Of course, 'Tec 500 was a milestone issue and this story has been reprinted a few times.

The Phantom Stranger has deposited Batman and Robin in Gotham City on an alternate earth.

This particular page has the only panel of the story with Barbara Kean, fianc�e to Detective Lieutenant James Gordon.

Note, Barbara Kean Gordon is a character on the Gotham TV series. And this particular page is significant in that way and others.

Giordano, as always, had extra octane when drawing his favorite childhood character, The Batman.

Unfortunately, the ink from those Penstix has faded a bit.

Batman was created by Bill Finger and Bob Kane.

Robin was created by Bob Kane, Bill Finger and Jerry Robinson.

Barbara Gordon was created by Gardner Fox and Carmine Infantino.

Barbara Kean was created by Alan Brennert.
